Rugby Apparel Guide

By Try Outfitters · Updated October 18, 2026

Rugby clothing can say more than which team you support. Maybe you play, coach, cheer from the touchline, or simply love the game’s language and humor. Start with a design that feels like you. Then choose a garment you would wear beyond match day.

Explore by design or garment

Our Women, Men, and Unisex collections are ways to browse artwork. If you already know what you want to wear, go straight to rugby T-shirts, hoodies, crewnecks, tank tops, or hats. Open the individual product page to see its actual colors, sizes, and garment details; not every design is offered on every piece.

Looking for women’s rugby artwork on a tee? Browse our women’s rugby graphic T-shirts, then check each product’s garment cut and measurements before choosing a size.

Find your side of the game

If you play

Your match kit already has a job. Off the pitch, you can choose a rugby phrase, a character-led graphic, or a quieter design that suits your everyday style. Start with the artwork, then compare the garments it actually appears on.

If you support from the touchline

Parents, partners, friends, and supporters belong in rugby culture too. You do not have to pick a design labeled for a player to find something personal. Browse the artwork paths, then check the product details for the piece you like.

Art audience is not the same as garment fit

A Women, Men, or Unisex collection helps organize the designs; it does not override the cut or measurements of an individual product. Use the product’s own options and our size guide before ordering. If you are shopping for a child who plays rugby, do not assume an adult listing includes youth sizes.

A few rugby words behind the graphics

Ruck
A phase around the ball on the ground, with players from both teams on their feet and in contact.
Scrum
A set-piece restart with players from both teams bound together.
Lineout
A way to restart after the ball goes into touch, with players contesting the throw-in.

These short explanations follow World Rugby’s Laws of the Game definitions; they are not a substitute for the full laws.

Buying for someone else?

Our rugby gift guide takes you through choosing for a player, parent, partner, coach, or supporter. For any order, let the recipient’s style lead and confirm the actual product options before checkout.
